Dewey Cox, fictional rock star played by John C Reilly, is performing real life concerts all over the US with the Cox Across America Tour, a promotion for the coming release of the film “Walk Hard” opening Friday the 21^st of December.

Rocking the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland on Wednesday the 5^th, John C Reilly showed he has talent beyond just his acting (you’ll surely remember his portrayal as “Reed Rothchild” in Boogie Nights). He may not have slept with over 400 girls and had 22 kids, like his character portrays, but he sings just as well as the fictional rock star Dewey Cox.

Dewey Cox and his band the Hard Walkers will be performing songs from the movie, such as “Let’s Duet” and “(I Hate You) Big Daddy”. Starting in Cleveland the Cox Across America tour will visit six additional cities including; Chicago, Austin, Nashville, San Francisco, Los Angeles>, and New York.

Lucky audiences will also get to see a special screening of the movie that hits theaters December 21^st.

Tickets are available to members of the Dewey Cox Fan Club and through various radio promotions so make sure to check your local stations and sign up for the fan club.
