In other news, The Cure has finally set a street date for their 13th studio album.  In true goth fashion, the release date is September the 13th with four singles to be released prior to then, one per month, starting with next Tuesday, May 13th.  How spooky…but will it have endearing hits like Friday I’m in Love or Just like Heaven? 

As for Avril Lavigne fans on the West Coast, well, unfortunately she’s gone ahead and cancelled six more dates on her “Best Damn Tour” and fans in California and Washington will have to wait for some other time.  She’s apologized for the cancellations and things might get Complicated on a rescheduling, but let’s hope it doesn’t Fall to Pieces.  Kind of makes you want to take that “Best” off of the tour name, doesn’t it?

Finally, Tina Turner, yep she’s still around, will embark on her newest tour come this October.  Apparently her farewell tour eight years ago wasn’t so farewell after all.  I don’t know if she’s lost a step or two since that time, but i’m sure fans are hoping she Better Be Good.

By the way, it is Cinco de Mayo so don’t forget to celebrate by grabbing a ringtone or two of Mariachi Music.  Ole!
