Tonight we’ll find out who is crowned the 7th American Idol! Last night was an intense battle as they both proved they were worthy of the title! The producers of the show sure had fun with the parody of a boxing match.

In honor of tonight’s finale, we’d thought we’d catch up with the past winners and contestants of American Idol. First season’s winner Kelly Clarkson has continued to soar. Her last albums she had 4 top singles Never Again and Sober. Last night season two’s winner Ruben Studdard performed his new single which hasn’t been released yet. Taking a break from Broadway, Fantasia graced the Idol stage with her new single. Carrie Underwood recently won CMA’s best female performer of the year for the second year in a row! Her newest album including the popular single So Small in multi-platinum. Unfortunately, Taylor Hicks had parted way with his record label last year. Jordin Sparks continues to spark on the charts, with 2 platinum singles, Tatto and No Air featuring Chris Brown.

All in all, it doesn’t hurt to win American Idol!
