Once again it was success for Playphone at the annual CTIA Wireless I.T. & Entertainment 2007 Conference in San Francisco. According to their site, CTIA “is the most well-attended mobile data convention in the industry, attracting more than 15,000 attendees, 300 exhibitors and more than 600 members of the media and analyst communities.”

Our Business Development, Content, and Carrier Business teams were in full force meeting with new and existing partners. In comparison to the past, this year’s conference attracted far more representatives in television, music, and media industry. We had the pleasure of speaking to new artist representatives, independent labels and production companies and envision many successful new partnerships. In the near future we hope to bring you their ringtones, wallpapers, and games. Many excited visitors departed from our booth with Playphone shirts, mugs and prepaid cards featuring content from Platinum Comics.

In addition to meeting new faces, we meet with our current content partners to discuss future plans. After seeing the success they had with us, many of them pledged more content and incorporating new brands. Lastly, with our new platform we are able to serve video content both 30 seconds short videos and mobilesodes.
