The Beatles Video Game?!

According to a number of music, entertainment and video game sources all over the net, the big news is that a partnership has been signed between the Beatle’s Apple Corps. Ltd, MTV Games, and Harmonix (makers of Rock Band) to create a new standalone video game using the Fab Four’s music catalog

This just about marks the first time EVER that music from the greatest band of all time will be used in a video game.

Since this will be a standalone title, there’s no information yet as to how it will play out, but considering it’s being created by the makers of Rock Band, there should be plenty of interesting instruments to keep in mind.  Can you say harmonica or sitar?

The game won’t be released until the Holiday season of 2009, but that can’t keep me from hammering out my own wishlist of songs that hoepfully will be included:

Norweigan Wood

Ticket to Ride

Hey Jude

While my Guitar Gently Weeps

Something

All you Need is Love

The Long and Winding Road

Yesterday

A Day in the Life

Come Together

Twist and Shout

Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band

Get Back

Helter Skelter

In My Life

and the list just goes on and on and on……

What Beatles song would you like to see included in the game?
